Second row bucket seats have heat control on the back of the center console. When you press the heat button it does not light up and you get no heat in seats. The second row has a power fold that works and all other functions of the rear facing console do work. How do I get heat to make my Mother-in-Law happy?

Hopefully this is just a fuse issue. So, we need to start with checking the rear seat fuse in the IP fuse block. This is on the left side of the dash.

However, if the folding seats work then it is unlikely the cause because I believe they share the same fuse.

So that means we could just have a faulty module. Basically, if you have power and ground but nothing coming out of the module on the control circuits for the rear heating elements then the module has failed.

Please run through this and let me know what questions you have.

Thanks

KennyK. Appreciate the info. I was able to find module under driver’s side second row seat and found a loose plug. Plugged in and now seats heat. Thank you and my M-I-L thanks you also.
