If it is cranking, then you need to move onto checking for spark, checking fuel and compression/timing.
Are there any codes in the computer?
Take some carb cleaner or starting fluid and blast a shot into the throttle body and then crank it. That may uncover a fuel problem if it starts.
One thing on the Saturns that was a big problem was the coolant temperature sensor. They would crack and often cause too much fuel to go into the cyllinders. Pull a plug and look at it's condition. IS it wet, worn, black etc?
