About 2 months ago, service engine light came on with a crankshaft position sensor code. Replaced the CPS and no light for about two weeks. In that two weeks discovered oil gasket leaked, and was fixed. After service engine came back on, ran fine for about two weeks, then died on startup and would not start again. Replaced the CPS again, car starts fine, but light is back on. Going to get the code read again but wanted to see if I am doing something wrong?

What code number did u have before u change the sensor? Also was the sensor under the starter with a yellow wire and a purple wire going to it?If u had to replace ur crank shaft postion sensor more then once then u ethier have a differnt problem then the sensor or u replaced it with a defective sensor. When u take the sensor measure how many ohms it has an if u have the old one measure that one too let me know how many they have. Also let me know what new codes u have. Let me know what u find.
