what is best way to troubleshoot? Both the rear window defogger & ignition key chime went out at same time. Think on same circuit. Fuses I checked are ok. Repair manual I have not specific about exactly which fuses protect that circuit, or exactly which circuit they're on.

For the fuses there in the inside fuse box under the foward kick panel just in front of the center console on the passenger side theres two differnt fuses the defroster which I belive is a 25 amp fuse and the chime I think is a 5 or 7.5amp fuse remove both and inspect them. Both if they both went out at the same time the only thing they have in common is the chime module they both go thru there the defroster use it to time it so it turns off after a certain time and the chime well u know ding ding lol. When u push the button for the defroster does it light up and stay on or does it do nothing like that? Also something that u can do is the chime module gets a loose connection its under the drivers side kick panel on the back side of the fuse box. To remove it theres a release tab at the bottom of the chime module move it to the side remove the module completely look at the connectors of the modules for bent or corroded pins if there isnt any then plug it back in and see how everything works. Let me know how it goes and please answer my questions.
