1997 Saturn SC2

Ok, I have written in about this before, so I went to the Pick'n'Pull in local area and pulled the Master Control Switch and both Window regulators from a similar '97 saturn, installed the switch and drivers side regulator today.

I have power indication on the Master Control Switch, and power going to the window motor in the new regulator.

However, I still have nothing, the window will not raise or lower. I still have the passenger side regulator to replace, should I install that side regulator and see if the switch works first before I assume the motor on the used drivers side regulator is bad?

Or, should I go to pep boys, buy a new motor for the window, plug it in and test it to see if it works first.

The big question is this - how do I know if it is the motor or the control switch?

If the control switch gives me a power signal using a tester, that shows it works, right? And thus the only solution is the motor is bad in the window?

Here's what you need it do go to the window that doesn't work unplug the connector to the motor check and make sure your getting battery voltage and ground to that connector when you move the switch up and down. If you are then you know you have a bad motor since the window isn't moving.
