1997 Saturn SC2 Low idle

1997 Saturn SC2

I have a 97 sc2. i just replaced the head, but now my car idle very low to the point of shutting off if the gas isn't being pressed. is this normal after a head replacement? if not what can i do to fix this?

Have ur codes scanned at a auto parts store like autozone and let me know what codes u have if any.it's not normal to have a low idle when u replace the head.let's start there let me know what u find.
