I have a 94 Saturn sl2.
Problem 1:
it runs high at idle (park) and really rough at idle (drive) taking off has its days usually it has very very low power going to 0-60 in 12 seconds average of 15 times different days. Had the spark plugs changed still have the problem. What do I need need to replace?

Problem 2:
the other day while driving my power steering went out and the battery light flashed on and off. I pulled over and popped the hood and the belt around the alternator is VERY loose so I started it back up and drove the rest of the way home with no power steering. What could make the power steering go out the belt loose and the battery light come one at the same time. Could it be the Tensioner?

Now with problem one how high does it idle? How does it run down the road does it miss or just bog down and a lack of power? Also you said it run's rough at idle can you see the rpm's jumping around on the gauge?Or can you just feel a vibration? If it's a Vibration is it worse in park or drive? Now with problem 2 you need to replace your belt tensioner.

It idles at 3 then drops down to like 1 and below in park.
In drive it idles at like 0.5 and vibrates the whole time. When taking off it is really slow some days and just slow other days. It jerks talking off and sometimes it shifts into like neutral by its self and I have to get off the gas and it goes into gear again. When it hits 40 mph it starts to vibrate again.

The belt tensioner porblem would that explain the lose of power steering and radio?

Yes the belt tenisor would explain the no power steering and the radio because your loosing the power steering pump turning and the alternator turning. Why don't you replace the belt tenisor and let me know when that's done and we can go from there.
