Switch for Back-up Lights

2002 Saturn SL1, 148K mi. The switch for the reverse lights needs replaced. Where is it located? What do I need to know to replace it?

It is a manual transmission

It is located on top of the transaxle shift housing. You might want to remove the aircleaner housing and tube for easier access.
