I recently failed inspection due to my "Service Engine Light" remaining on. The Saturn dealership determined the problem was the O2 sensor, which they replaced. I have since driven about 100 miles, and the "Service Engine Light" is back on again. Is there another problem that could be causing this?

It could be completely unrelated, take it in and have it scanned is the only way to know for sure. Please reply if you need further assistance with your problem.

Thanks for your quick reply. Your recommendation to get a scan was one I already followed. I paid for a full diagnostic scan at the dealer's recommendation to ensure that they find precisely the nature of the problem causing the service engine light to stay on since there could be multiple causes. The O2 sensor was the only problem that was detected in the scan. Where do I go from here? What else should I be looking at?

Is it the same one they replaced? Sensor 1 vs sensor 2?

You could have had a faulty one installed, or they could have left the wires too close to the exhaust and it melted them.
