I have two questions.

1) My SID says "time for service". What exactly do I have to service to get that fixed?

2) A spark emitted from my gear shift. Twice. What could that be?

It is 0 degrees here in Illinois, so would that have something to do with the spark? Thank you!

Time for service mean, something like an oil change, spark plugs, fluid flushes , if u have not gotten those done then look into that, that is what that means, as per spark u need to get that checked ASAP that is not normal in any temp, good luck.
