My top and bottom engine mounts was done yesterday, now when I put it in drive and step on the gas to accelerate it has a rubbing or grinding sound. I think it is coming from the right front of the car. When I let off the gas it stops, it also happens in reverse.

Sounds like one of the mounts is not properly centered. One of them sets the position of the engine, left to right. With the engine off center, one of the pulleys can rub on something, or the two metal pieces of the mount can contact each other. Those two pieces are separated with a rubber isolator, or insert. If they touch each other, normal engine vibration will be transmitted into the passenger compartment where it can be heard and felt. The clue is this just started when the mounts were replaced.

Dandy. I was in the middle of typing that, but got side-tracked. I left the dealership just before the PT Cruiser showed up. I helped a friend on his, but he had the mounts removed before I showed up, so I never got to play with them. Happy to hear you solved it, but I will keep thinking about and I will try to come up with a better answer! :)
