Hello team,

My car revs when picking or changing gears. Or when increasing speed. The steering wheel hardens up when starting or reversing and has impacted the left front tire that has worn out faster than the other front right tire.
Please help.

Hi,

Can you let me know which (left or right) tire wore faster and if it wore evenly or not? Also, have you checked the transmission fluid level and condition?

Here are the directions for checking the fluid. The attached pics correlate with the directions.

PROCEDURES
CHECKING

NOTE: Keep all foreign particles out of the transmission.

1. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature (the radiator fan comes on).
2. Park the vehicle on level ground. Turn off the engine.
3. Remove the dipstick (yellow loop) from the transmission, and wipe it with a clean cloth.

4. Insert the dipstick into the transmission.

5. Remove the dipstick and check the fluid level. It should be between the upper and lower marks.
6. If the level is below the lower mark, pour the recommended fluid into the filler hole to bring it to the upper mark. Always use Genuine Honda Premium Formula Automatic Transmission Fluid ATF). Using a non-Honda ATF can affect shift quality.

7. Insert the dipstick back into the transmission in the direction shown.

Also, let me know if the check engine light is staying on when the engine is running, if the engine RPM's seem low at idle, and anything you can think of that may help point me in the right direction.

Take care,
joe
