I just replaced the clutch disc, slave cylinder, pressure plate, clutch cover, hydraulic line, just don't know how to remove the master clutch from clutch pedal and fire wall. I know the hydraulic flex line has a bleeder valve so I can just bleed from there when I'm finished.

Hi,

There is a retainer clip that holds the pushrod to the pedal. See pic 1. To remove it, depress the forward-facing tabs and pull upward on the clutch pedal.

To remove the master cylinder from the fire wall, turn it 1/4 turn clockwise. See pic 2 below.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe

I got the pushrod out of the pedal, but the plastic is still behind it somewhat majority just one side of the taps is broken off but if I can get a shorter flat head on each side to depress. I may be able to get it out or just leave it in and place the new master clutch push rod in it?

Hi,

I'm trying to picture what you are saying. What plastic part is broken? If it is in the pedal, the new one won't fit.

Let me know.

Joe
