REPLACE CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR

I know that the sensor is in the distributor. I have a repair book that states the distributor needs to be replaced, but you can purchase a sensor separately. I am not sure what to do.

There are places that can rebuild your distributor since they will have the proper tools to take it apart. But for the price sometimes it is more cost effective to just order a new one.
