Repair or buy a new car

I have about $600.00 in repairs due (master cylinder and possibly a new brake booster [+600]), new battery plus new tires and brake pads soon for a total of about $2,100.00. Is it worth it to repair or should I get a new car? If I repair, will this car last me another 40,000 miles?

To be honest with you there are no certainty in life. For me to say any car will last another 40,000 after expensive repairs I could not give you a truthful answer. The engine could fail, the transmission could fail, you could have another string of expensive repairs down the road. I would have to be crazy to say yeah go for it you will have 40,000 more trouble free miles. Even my car I take it day by day repair by repair. Lol.
