I want to get my Taurus back on the road again. It has been sitting for a year. The mechanic say it needs all brake rotors and pads, front inner and outer tie rods, radiator flush, alignment, oil change. Cost is 975.00. is that a good price and is it worth it with this highmileage. We are the original owners. We arenot sure about transmission and won;t know unless we getit back on the road.

Thanks,
Cathy

sounds like a decent estimate, yes. will cost over $600 just in labor, throw in parts and you will be around $900 easily.. wether or not you choose to have it all repaired is up to you. you can visit www.kbb.com to find out what your vehicle books for..
