1998 Renault Megane Fuel Problem

hello,
I ran out of fuel today as I was pulling into the filling station and after fueling the engine was not running properly. I drove for 9 miles and it used around two gallons. I put a fuel treatment in and more fuel and then drove the 9 miles home but the car only seems to be running on a couple of cylinders with half the power. I have looked under the hood but it is all pretty hard to get to as its a renault. Is there some fuel filter I can change out. I think it has injectors. Can anyone give me advice please, warm regards, Phillip
