How to remove the driver's side door panel?

l on my vehicle listed above SE model. The driver's door is locked and cannot be opened at all. Not even with a key. How can we remove the door panel? There appears to be a bolt that we can’t get to near the dash because of the locked door.

Yep, this can have issues you might want to remove the front seats to help you gain access. I believe the lock rod has fallen off the later so you can't unlock the door. Here is how to remove the door panel to inspect the lock rod. Check out the images (below). Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
