Ignition switch

I have a 97 Honda CR-V. The ignition lock has been giving me problems with the key turning. I've had to fiddle with it to get it to turn. Yesterday it just would not work. I had it towed to a service garage and they say I need a new ignition switch which sounds reasonable. They said it would cost about $500 including parts and labor. Does this sound reasonable? Thanks :(

I think you will find there is a recall n most Honda ignition switches. Good Luck
