When I start up the car the 3 rear seat belt warning lights come on and stay on even when seats are empty. When I buckle up the belts the 2 outside belt lights go off but the middle light stays on. Can you help. The car is a 2007 honda crv.

Hello,

It sounds like the ODS module has gone out. I would start by replacing it you might have to have it programmed into the CAN to have the system work. Here is the seat belt wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works.

Here is the ODS location as well.

Check out the diagrams (Below)

Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.

Cheers, Ken

The air bag warning light comes on normally and goes off normally. I tried disconnecting the battery to see if it would re-boot, but no luck. So I took it to the dealer and they replaced the ODS module for $350.00 but at least it is working. Thanks for your help I love this site.
