How do I change plastic panel that is just below the glass, it is the one with the Ford emblem in the center of it? Is it just glued on? What is the best way too remove it? I removed inside trim and found no screws or bolts?

Hello, I am Danny.

They are held in place by a removable snap-in clip. Best thing to use is some sort of thin pry bar or flat blade screwdriver. Put you fingers underneath to use as a helper and gently pry and the clips will pop out. They are similar to the ones used in a door panel. I have attached a tutorial for you to view. Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

How do I remove the plastic panel on my rear hatch? I am trying to take off the panel below the glass, it has the Ford emblem in the center of it.

Actually you are incorrect, no clips an autobody guy suggested it is glued on. I pryed one up in a junk yard and it was about to break the glass.

Hello again.

I must have misunderstood. Are you speaking of the interior or exterior panel? The interior has clips (what I was talking about) and the exterior is glued on removed with a sharp putty knife. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.
