Rear door will not open

Child safety lock engaged and door handle broke.

That is cute, you will have to pull door panel off from inside car. If outside handle will not work then flip the switch for child safety on door after open. Then replace handle. This is assuming door will unlock if not all that can be done inside car no easy task however.
