How to raise the car to replace the serpentine belt tensioner?

Is it okay to raise the engine from the oil pan? If yes, please let me know how. I do not want to damage it. I am going to change the serpentine belt tensioner. To remove the long bolt going through it I will have to remove the bolts of the passenger engine mount and I will have to raise the engine. If not the long bolt of the tensioner will hit the frame and I will not be able to remove it.

You can use a floor jack to control the engine just use a block of wood between the engine oil pan and jack. Here are the instructions on how to change the belt tensioner out. Check out the images (below). Let us know if you need anything else.
