A dude put in a new battery under my fuse box and now the radio wont come on

Check for a blown fuse. They often blow due only to the surge when connecting the battery. There will be two fuses. The fuse for the memory circuit will be some other circuit that is always live, like the interior lights, brake lights, horn, or possibly the cigarette lighter.
