Brown fluid is leaking from under the van on both the passenger and driver side and the car did not overheat. What can be wrong?

Hello,

Okay, have you been using antifreeze in your cooling system or straight water? If it has been straight water than coolant will take on a rusty color and look brown. Oil is usually black colored, unless it is freshly changed. Transmission fluid is reddish brown after some time. Is there any way you could look under your vehicle and see where it is coming from? You should be able to see where it is leaking from or if it is water from the cooling system you should be able to see a washed spot. Please get back to us with what you are able to find out. Also, if you are able could you please take a picture of where it is leaking from and upload it for us. This would help out a lot.

Thanks,
Alex

I am not able to see where the leak is. Also had used water instead of antifreeze a few days ago.

Hello again,

Okay, you are having to add water so that leads me to believe that it is a cooling system leak.I have included an exploded view of your vehicle's cooling system in the diagrams down below. I have also included a couple of links below for you to go to.

Please go through these guides and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

Alex
