Hi, the leak is at the fitting connection, of the small high pressure line on the assembly itself, which runs from the main housing, to the center of the assembly. I have not been able to find out if this line can be replaced or can I cannibalize a used assembly to replace only the line. I want to avoid replacing the entire rack and pinion assembly, which for this issue, should be possible. Tried to add an image, but does not seem to be working.

Thanks,

Joe C

If the issue is with the Teflon o-ring, those can be replaced. Here is a picture of the procedure, you don't necessarily need the special tool, as long as you are careful with stretching it into place.

Not sure. I just did the power steering pump so I know what you're talking about. I could remove the line and check, but it looks like the issue is with the fitting/line itself. Thanks.

That could be sometimes the port in the rack is damaged and will never seal so please look at that as well. Can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can see what's going on? That would be great. You can upload it here with your response.
