The top half of engine was replaced last January (2017). It stopped running had it towed to a auto shop they said there is no compression in cylinder number one. The car still started! Now that it is home it is not starting at all the firing order is correct and a new coil was installed. Even with no compression one. That cylinder it should still start? As it did before it was towed? What can I do to at lease get it to start? Oh, and the battery is fully charged. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The first cylinder did not have compression could be due to various reasons and since vehicle has been parked for so long, other cylinders could have lost their compression pressure as well and this would not allow you to start.

Have the compression tested. Try a wet test and if you are able to bring up the compression, you might be able to start the engine. The links below should be helpful top you.
