When changing gear between 3,000 to 4,000 rpm's the revs temp increase and drop off, quite noticeable.
clutch is light to press and goes a long way down, very sensitive catch when clutch is engaged. Is this clutch wear?

Good morning.
It is very possible this is due to a worn out clutch. As a clutch wears, its friction or "grab" point slowly moves up toward the top of the clutch pedal travel. If your clutch engages at the point where the pedal is almost all the way up, it's mostly likely worn out. The link below discusses common symptoms you would experience with a worn or failed clutch.
