over a period of a few weeks it has been getting harder to get into gear now almost impossible, it has not been slipping which is why i was hoping it wasn't my clutch gone but maybe needs adjusting if this is possible, could you please give me your veiws on this and if it is my clutch then how much aprox would this cost me?

Most likely the hydraulic system that operates clutch. Check resivoer next to brake cyl. if low need to find leak either master or slave on trans.
