I have a 1985- 944 that I bought after it was in a collision. We had the body pull out and repaired and when I went to start it it would crank and not start. While it try's to crank I get the anti-freeze flowing into the resovuior. When the cap to the anit-freeze tank is off it actually flows out until I stop cranking the enging. We tried to start it while spraying starting fluid into the air intake and it fires up but idles rough. When you stop spraying the starting fluid the car stalls out. The car sat for a few years, we put dry gas in as well as new gas. Could it be a blown head gasket? Could it be something else? I really don't have a clue.

try testing the fuel pump, and see if the fuel filter is dirty.

hello , If your vehicle had a blown headgasket you see the 'tall tell ' signs, Pull the dip stick and see if you have a milky white fluid on it , also pull the oil cap and on the back side of it will be that white substance on it if it were blown
