I have 3 monitors that won't reset on my car no matter how far I drive or how I drive (Catalyst Monitor, Evap System Monitor & Oxygen Sensor Monitor). The check engine light isn't on but the monitors won't reset and I've driven about 400 miles. I took it to a dealer and code #p0507 showed up so they cleaned the idle air control valve and said to drive it and see if that trips the monitors now. I've driven about 120 miles since and the same monitors still won't clear. They said to replace the idle air control valve but I'm afraid that replacing it still won't solve the monitors clearing. My local mechanic doesn't know why they won't reset either. It has an aftermarket exhaust on but it seems that if this were the issue then the check engine light would be on. I'm stumped and really would like to know if replacing the idel air control valve will fix my issue. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Disconnect your battery so it clears them al. Then start from fresh again and drive it for a few weeks see if they run and pass. If they wont run the shop may have to take it through a drive cycle to meet all of the conditions for it to set. There are so many stiupulations that must be met even for the monitors to run
