Actually my daughter's car, driven by grandson. He drove it home, parked it, and the next day it would not start. He suspected low fuel, so he got fuel, but still no start. Battery seems OK, engine turns over well. Just in case power was low, tried boosting to no avail.
Any idea where to start trouble shooting?

Hi, have a helper crank it, while you visually check for spark at the plugs, if you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Around here, some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage, if you don't have one.

I didn't check to see if ignition assembly sits right on top of spark plugs, meaning, no plug wires. If that is the case, you can turn assembly up-side down, use a spark tester in each boot. You'll need to use jumper wire to ground each tester to meta part of engine, then watch for spark. Any testing, you might want to disable fuel system.
