2000 Pontiac Sunfire ignition

When I start my car the power windows wont work and also none of my defrosters or fans will work when I wiggle my ignition switch around they will start working is it definatly the ignition switch cylinder or is it the commutateur

I'm cheap,
I suggest that you take the electrical part of the switch apart and visually inspect it and possibly clean it with some contact cleaner or scratch pad.

Based on your description, it sounds like the actual ignition switch (not the tumbler) may be going bad or out of adjustment. It is located on the steering column and is attached to the tumbler via a steel rod. THat is where I would start checking.
