Engine Performance problem
1997 Pontiac Sunfire 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 175000 klms

when I start the car in the morning and its in idle I could walk away and it sounds like it wants to stall then it revs up slightly then its fine. On its own that is.
when I drive the car for about30 mins. Or so it stalls out and wont turn over I have to let the car sit for a while for the car to start again but if I drive it for about 30 mins or so it stalls out again.
Hope you can help I have almost had two accidents due to this problem.

I replaced the idel air control thinking it was maybe that. It wasnt. But the EGR valve was sticking but only at times. Other times I could drive forever then out of no where it would die. People acted like I didnt know how to keep my car running lol. But maybe have things like your MAP sensor Throttle Postion sensor checked out. Or you could even have a throttle body leak some where. I would lean more towards the sticking EGR valve.
