Hi, I have a problem starting the car. When I turn the ignition I hear a low buzz sound but no cranking. I checked the batter leads and connection. I cleaned and tight them up. It went find for couple of days but started to happen again. When I turn the key the Daytime running light goes off.
Is this a Batter issue or starter?

It's hard to be sure without testing. If you have a digital multimeter, place the leads across the battery posts, everything turned off. The generic spec for a full charge is 12.6 volts. If you leave the leads hooked up, have helper turn key to crank, the reading shouldn't drop below about 9.6, if the reading drops way down, you need to have the battery tested. Some of the national brand autostores will check the battery for you. You have to start with the battery, you can't test anything without proper voltage.

I have used the meter and got 12V and got same 12V reading when someone turned the ignition. Just got the Buzzing sound. But I could started it using jump-start unit. Guessing it is the battery.
