I have a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix W/a 3.8 V6. When warm it is hard to start.

It cranks fine, it just starts and dies, unless you give it about 1/4 throttle. After it starts you can let off the gas. When it is cold it cracks off and idles perfect.

Yes and no. If you shut it off and try to restart right away it might start 3 out of 5 times it really seems the idle speed is too low for the first 3-6 sec then it will stablize. If you shut it down after warm up and try to start it up in 10 min or so it will not start and stay running unless you depress the throttle

Funny thing my van does the same thing every once and a great while! Not often enough for me to look to fix it. It sounds as if IAC is failing to set properly to make idle right.
