When the wipers are turned off they stop in the 'up' position.  When they are on, they work fine and pause in the down position.   Is it the motor or the switch on the steering column?

I laughed when i read your question, i have had the same problem for about 6 months now!, i just leave them on in the lowest inter. position. two mechanic's said it's the motor going, and it'll be around $100, p+l. i'm to cheap to fix it! they still work, just sux when they are in your way...[quote="rtbnk1"]Interior problem
