2001 Pontiac Grand Prix

when I crank my car it idles high at fist then will idle down. When Im driving it the rpms will not fall below 1500. When I shift into park or nuetral it will rev up to 2000 rpms. I have replaced the idle air control valve and have checked all the visible vaccum hoses. I need another opinion on what it might be thanks

Is the check engine light on? Also check the throttle plate it should close tightly to throttle body.

Yeah the check engine light is on but its the o2 sensor

Try using a spray bottle of water spray around the intake manifold and throttle body. If rpms change you may have a vacuum leak.
