1999 Pontiac Grand Prix My heater doesn't work right

My heater won't run until I put it on the highest setting and the fan squeaks sometimes then the heater stops. Is this a very hard fix?

No not really, I you just need a new blower fan or fan motor, shouldnt be too expensive if you decide to have a shop do it
