1998 Pontiac Grand Prix messed up 98 Grand Prix

Ok this is weird but sometimes when I turn on my car it wont shift and the heat wont come on. Then you hear a click and the heat will come on but it still wont shift unless u turn the heater off and even then it wont shift sometimes. Then when u go to turn off the car it wont go to lock it will just go far enough to turn it off. Just curious if its a relay or something its really weird

Actually I do but it has been on since I got the car because of the evap canister needing to be changed. If I hook it to a obdII computer will it show an error for my problem?

Take to most autoparts stores and get the codes read. You probably have new error codes in PCM.
