Recently I was on my way home driving, I experinced a problem. I had the cruise control set a 61Mph when the car hesitated for a brief second, then accellerated for another brief second, and then after that stalled. I pulled over to restart my car, which it did start and idled for about 5 seconds then quit. I can hear the fuel pump run once the car stalled. The only way it stays running is if it is being revved past 3,000 Rpm. Also I have a OBDII scanner and nothing is showing up. Any suggestions?

Well I've found the problem. It is the fuel pump resistor. Tested it and showed open lead, which tells me its bad. So I jumped the connector to confirm the problem and the car stayed running. On my car it is located under the battery tray on the outside of the frame rail, passenger side. Not one parts dealers have nor either have heard of them, but managed to have a GM dealer order it for a cheap price of $53 as compared to a fuel pump (that would have done nothing) for $330.
