02 Pontiac Grand Prix gt running sluggish. Help !

[b] :cry:Can anyone tell me what can be causing my pontiac grand prix to be running sluggish? When the gas pedal is pressed the car jerks and bogs out and the engine runs in high idle but it wont accelerate. Car wont go pass 35mph. HELP ! :Cry:

Could be a number of things plugged catylitic convertor or fuel system problems need to check the fuel filter and see if it has a maf sensor what year is the vehicle
