I have no Idea actually. My car was running fine I was then deployed for 1 year and when I came back my car will not cold start as they mechanics have said once it starts its fine but it wont start up at 1st. I have spent a lot of money on trying to fix it and the mechanics here in Germany are lost they have replaces the Fuel pump, and the Computer and it still will not start at all in the morning. GM sent them a info saying my car should start but it still won't can someone help me who had this issue also?

A little more info please.

Did car sit for a year without being started?

If so, the major problem would be the deterioation of gasoline, the formation of varnish as the gasoline breaks down.

Whenever a car is left for long term storage, put some fuel stabilizer in tank, it will prevent the breakdown of the gas and keep it fresh for a long time.
Most likely varnish has clogged the fuel system including injectors, tank will have to be cleaned and injectors as well.

Thanks for your service to our country!
