2001 Pontiac Grand Am Battery Light

2001 Pontiac Grand Am 6 cyl

I was driving my car which is a 2001 Pontiac Grand Am and the battery light came on and stayed on and then the air conditioning went out. So I shut everything off (radio, air conditioning) until I got home. Was wondering what may have caused this problem?

Hello,

Possible cause is the Alternator and or the Battery...
Suggest going by your local Autozone and have them check battery and alternator.
