As im driving the antitheft system engages, I lose power and the car stalls a couple seconds later. My security light will be flashing and I have to sit on the side of the road to reset. This sometimes takes 15-20 mins. Then the car starts back up. Iwhen this started I didnt realize what was casuing it until the last few days. First it did it and then about 3 months later now its done it twice in the last week. Is there a way to disable this system, because it is a safety hazard because it cuts out while im driving. Thank you, angel

Check the battery connections, make sure they are clean and tight. The security light would generally have to be reset when battery is disconnected, so you may have a loose connection.

Also have charging system tested at any autoparts store for free, system voltage may be low enough to cause the security light to come on.
