1997 Pontiac Grand Am coolant level sensor

My coolant level sensor has been on for over 200 miles and I do not have a leak, and my temperature gauge reads normal while driving for several hours.
Do I just need to replace my coolant level sensor and is it located under the coolant overflow container?
