I just got repairs on my car and I thought they were suppose to fix the small antifreeze leak. They also replaced the thermostat.

I added a product to stop the antifreeze leak, but my car is still overheating. It seems like the overheating increases when I turn the defrost on. Is there something else I can do.

Thanks.

Check compression on all cylinders to rule out a headgasket.

Next perform a cooling system pressure test, which will isolate leak.

The problem with the cooling system additives is that they can sometimes cause a blockage in cooling system.

Waterpump is another possibility.
