The engine is skipping, running on what sounds like only 2 cylinders. The compression is reading 180 on each cylinder. The spark plugs indicate that only 2 are firing, but appear to have to much gas. The coils have been replaced. The timing chain has never been replaced, and I have not checked it at this time, is it possible to have either the intake or exhaust jump one tooth and cause this problem? The engine was running fine when it was shut off. This problem all started upon start-up.

Have you checked fuel pump pressure? The pressure regulator may be bad. Also, check the temp sensor. Has the check engine light come on? If you replace the plugs, does it run any better?
