I am trying to replace rear pads and cannot compress the caliper. I have tried just compressing it, then opening the bleed port, then opening supply line. To no avail, have yet been able to compress the caliper for new shoes to go on. Thank you for your help.

have to use a piston installation tool in order to twist the brake caliper piston into the caliper bore. most auto part stores will carry this tool...
