my 84 trans am wont get spark??

i have an 84 trans am and its not getting spark.there is power going in but no spark going out.i replaced the cap,rotor,coil,and control module.i was told it could be the computer because the guy who had it before me hooked the battery up backwards.i need help any suggestions??
